 Coral Leisure announce Darragh Greene as their new Brand Ambassador June 2nd, 2020 Irish international swimmer Darragh Greene is today announced as Brand Ambassador for Coral Leisure Ireland. Having started his swimming career in his local Coral Leisure swimming pool in Longford, Darragh continues to use his local centre as he prepares to compete at Tokyo. Coral Leisure are extremely proud to be supporting Darragh on his journey to the Olympics in 2021 as part of Team Ireland, even recently supplying Darragh with necessary gym equipment to keep his training on track during the Covid 19 restrictions. Irish family owned Coral Leisure are Ireland’s leading Leisure & Energy Management company managing nine pool & leisure facilities nationwide. In addition to Longford they include facilities in Arklow, Askeaton, Ballinasloe, Cobh, Killarney, Monaghan, Tuam, and Wicklow. Coral Leisure are known for a personable and transparent approach and put great emphasis on building relationships with customers and local community groups. We have some really exciting news! We will be starting outdoor classes from Monday, June 8th! We cannot wait to get started but we ask that you all take note of the following information. Important information: 1️⃣ Each person has to bring their own mat. 2️⃣ Face masks must be worn by all participants. (We do not supply them) 3️⃣ No toilet/shower facilities will be available. 4️⃣ Classes will go ahead weather permitting. 5️⃣ A screening form will need to be filled out and emailed in prior to booking any classes. 6️⃣ Bookings will open Tuesday 2nd June @ 10.00 am. 7️⃣ Payment will be taken over the phone. No cash payments will be taken. 8️⃣ Classes will take place on the grounds of the centre. More details to follow soon! We have two 6 months free gym & pool memberships to give away to the fastest male and female across the country and everyone who enters is in with a chance to win a 3 month free gym & pool membership in their local Coral Leisure Centre. That’s 11 Free Memberships we're giving away! Each year Coral Leisure chooses a charity partner and this year we have chosen 10 local Cancer Support Services. Our local partner here is Marymount Hospice. Entry to our Virtual 5km Run is via a €5 donation to our charity partners and every penny raised here will go to Marymount Hospice. Then screenshot your time and send it to us on the e-mail above. The fastest time for a male and a female nationally on the day will each win 6 Months Free Gym & Pool Membership at their local Coral Leisure. Everyone who enters the run will be entered into a draw at their local Coral Leisure centre.  Following the publication of the Governments roadmap for reopening society and business, we at Coral Leisure are currently working to develop a strategy to re-open our facilities. In conjunction with our Local Authorities we are in the process of finalising the re-opening plans for each of our 9 centres. The safety of our staff and customers has always been our number one priority. We have been in contact with industry leading experts from across the globe and are ensuring evidence-based procedures will be in place once our pools, gyms and fitness facilities re-open. Due to the variety and diversity of Coral Leisure facilities across the country, each centre shall have a bespoke programme for re-opening. The site-specific details of these plans shall be communicated to you from your local Coral Leisure centre closer to the date of each phase in the government roadmap. Across all Coral centres however there will be social distancing measures, hand sanitising stations, rigorous cleaning regimes and comprehensive training for all staff in place when we begin operations again. In line with the government’s phased roadmap, Coral Leisure hopes to implement a phased reopening of it centres and a phased re-introduction of services. Phase 2 -June 8th – Small outdoor fitness classes will resume, in some centres with appropriate facilities, with social distancing measure in place. Some centres will also be offering online classes, possibly even before this date. Phase 4 – July 20th – Swimming Pools will reopen with social distancing measures in place and extensive effective cleaning procedures in place. Limits on numbers will apply. Phase 5 – August 10th – Gyms, Exercise Studios and sports halls will reopen. Again, limits on numbers will apply, social distancing measure will be in place and extra cleaning procedures will be in place, Please follow our social media channels to be kept informed of the specific plans for your local Coral Leisure centre. We are looking forward to seeing all of our members and customers in the coming months, as always Coral Leisure is at the heart of your community and we will continue to ensure the highest possible standards as we face into the new world post Coronavirus, together. The 20-20-20 Challenge. 20 Sessions for 20 minutes a day for 20 days. Win 3 Months Free Gym & Pool Membership in your local Coral Leisure- we have 9 in total to give away! Entry is FREE and at the end of the 20 days, a draw will take place in which participants will win a membership for their local Centre. All you have to do is email your local Coral Leisure Centre, Coral Leisure Cobh with a valid email address to this address: cobh@coralleisure.ie You shall receive the full 20 days workout programme once you email us to enter. Every day we shall be posting a workout video for you to do at home, and each day you have the chance to win further prizes.
